Employee: Sir, may I come in?
Manager: Yes. Please come in.
Employee: Is everything alright, sir?
Manager: I’m afraid everything is not fine.
Employee: Ohh, why so?
Manager: Month end’s employee reports are out and I’ve seen you performance.
Employee: Okay, and?
Manager: And you haven’t worked upto the mark. Actually your past reports of three months also have not been so good and progressive. I wanted to know the reason why you are not giving your 100% to the work. The office atmosphere is good, the payment is good then what’s the problem?
Employee: The thing is that I am facing some personal problems which is impacting my professional life. Hence, I am not able to give my best at work.
Manager: Okay so you cannot mix your work life and personal life together. You did, which is why it impacted your professional life and now you will have to bare the consequences. I’m sorry but I will have to fire you.
Employee: Sir, please don’t do this. I promise I’ll work hard and will not give you anything to complain about me.
Manager: But, this is happening since the past few months and I cannot have such employees in my office. I’m sorry. All the best for your future.
