Well, that specificity is known as a Genre. A Genre can also be called as a theme of a story or the main ‘domain’ of it. The ‘type’ of the movie, song or a book is called Genre.
For example: Mystery, fantasy, horror, rom-com, drama etc. are certain types of Genres.

- Fiction
Fiction is one of the most famous and main genres of literature that is used in many movies, stories and books. Fiction is all about imaginary characters and events taking place in the story. The full story stands imaginary. None of it is real.
Examples of fiction are Star Wars, Avengers, The Meg, Harry Potter, Twilight, etc.
- Non Fiction
The opposite of fiction is nonfiction wherein the story is all about real people and real events, Nothing is imaginary in a non fiction.
Examples of nonfiction are biographies, autobiographies or even memoirs.
Poetry is the third type of the genre of literature. In this type of genre, the words and sentences are put in a way that sounds rhyming, and they are in a flow. Poetry gives more in less.
Some of the most famous and renowned poets are Shakespeare, Rudyard Kipling, John Milton and John Keats.
- Drama
Drama is a category of literature in which stories are created specifically for the stage and presentation. Drama is also known as a play.
Some of the most famous dramas by WIlliam Shakespeare are Hamlet, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth.
- Folktale
We also refer to folktales with mythology as they tell original oral literature stories which play the role to pass moral lessons.
